McNuggets Turned Vegan: McDonald's and Beyond Meat Collaborated to Introduce Plant-Based McNuggets in Germany

McDonald’s, a renowned fast-food chain based in Chicago, will be launching McNuggets made from plant-based ingredients. The initial market for this new product will be Germany. These McNuggets, named McPlant Nuggets, will consist of a combination of peas, corn, and wheat coated in a tempura batter. 

Beyond Meat, a plant-based meat alternative company located in El Segundo, California, worked with McDonald's to create this product. This is the second collaboration between the two companies, with the first being the McPlant burger, which McDonald's has been offering since 2021.
