With the need for social distancing - imposed as one of the ways to contain the spread of coronavirus - UGVs have found new applications. Several public and private entities have deployed the UGV technology or various application areas. Globally, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, UGV use cases such as patrolling, disinfectant spraying in various areas, delivering of essential goods such as medical deliveries have increased since March 2020. UGV operators are providing service to healthcare end users by delivering essential goods, such as medicines, test kits, blood units, vaccines, and other important supplies.
